Background of MSA
Founded by Merle Suobiron Alferez, a Math Teacher, in 1988, MSA has grown to be the Philippines’ pioneer in
academic advancement, tutorial services, and review services. We offer programs
that cut across various academic and professional needs from tutorials starting
at preschool, high school and college entrance exams, to professional
eligibility examination reviews.
MSA also takes pride in being the only academic advancement and
review institute in the Philippines which is both a Superbrands awardee and an
ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Our Materials
To further help students achieve their academic goals, MSA has
designed various materials that can test and enhance students’ knowledge in
core subject areas such as English, Science, and Mathematics. We have also
published several review materials for professional exams like Civil Service,
Career Executive, and Licensure Examination for Teachers. These materials are
developed and updated by teachers with first-hand experience in handling review
classes thus assuring our materials’ effectiveness and relevance.
Our Teachers
Continuing our culture of excellence, MSA teachers undergo intensive
training on their subject areas and of different admission test approaches
around the country. Furthermore, besides
content training, our teachers also go through methodological trainings and
coaching, guaranteeing that every teacher can cater to students’ academic
needs.
